The goal of the videos is to record some of the best unique COVER SONGS and launch the videos online to reach hundreds of thousands and even MILLIONS of views.
If you have a GREAT VOICE or can PLAY AN INSTRUMENT and COVER the NEWEST SONGS that appear on the radio, then we want hear from you. We are looking to choose up to 20 great singers and instrumentalists in Ottawa and record acoustic style music videos. Full bands will not be recorded. One or two musicians can be covered for the music video recording.
We will only be shooting COVER SONGS at this time. All original music will NOT be recorded into music videos at this time.
Guidelines:
- There are no age restrictions for the music videos. Any performers under the age of 18 must have a model release and permission form must be signed by a parent or guardian.
- If you are a vocalist and do not play any instrument but must find a musician who can play the accompanying music with you.
- All music videos will be recorded LIVE in a full take with up to 3 camera angles. Multiple takes will be when necessary.
- Cover songs can be chosen by you and must be relevant within 1 to 6 months from release on the radio. The more recent the song the better a chance you have of being selected.
How to Apply:
- Send your full name, phone number, address, photo and short paragraph letting us know who you are
- Send a link to a video you have posted in the past or send us a recorded version of any song you choose as an MP3 file. The quality does not need to be the best, but we do need to see what you can do.
